Hollow & Elm was born from a love of fragrance, changing seasons, old woods, quiet rooms, and the way a familiar scent can instantly transport you somewhere else.

But our story didn't begin with Hollow & Elm.

For more than seven years, I poured hand-poured candles under the name Preach Candle Co., learning the craft one batch at a time and creating fragrance collections that became favorites in homes year after year. As the business grew, so did my vision for what I wanted to create.

Hollow & Elm is that next chapter.

The new name and look reflect the kind of fragrance I've always been drawn to—warm woods, autumn air, garden herbs, weathered orchards, soft florals, smoke, spice, and unexpected combinations that somehow feel familiar.

Every Hollow & Elm candle is hand-poured in small batches with soy wax and carefully selected fragrances. Some scents are dark and atmospheric, while others are fresh, botanical, warm, or nostalgic. You'll find unique fragrances like Bourbon Applewood, Lavender Moon, Fig + Ember, Harbour Fog, and Eucalyptus + Mint alongside seasonal scents inspired by everything from orchard fruit to something baking in the kitchen.

The common thread is simple: they should make you want to light them again.

Hollow & Elm isn't about starting over. It's about taking everything I've learned over the years and creating a brand that finally feels like the home these products were meant to have—more refined, a little mysterious, and rooted in the handmade character that has always been at the heart of what I do. From each jar of hand-poured candles to every label applied, Hollow & Elm remains intentionally small-batch and hands-on.
